The Klemperers’ New Clothes

Traveling salesman Millard E. Calhoot is helping his brother, underappreciated town tailor Willard Mutz, convince the haughty town matriarch Edna Klemperer that she should wear their Fantabulous Frock which is “invisible to fools!” She agrees, and you won’t believe what she’s a’ wearin’ for the town Promenade!  The heartwarming musical story builds trust, faith, and examples of appreciation of self worth for young people.

Buddy has idolized Gideon his entire lifetime and has come to Los Angeles to meet him and to follow in his footsteps to cross over from gospel to pop. He is devastated when, during the course of the session, he learns Gideon is both gay and has AIDS.
