The Spirit of Broadway Theater is proud to create and present the Second Annual
Connecticut High School Music Theater Awards! The Connecticut program is connected with The National High School Musical
Theater Awards, to be held June 2010 in New York City!
This annual event seeks
to raise the profile of high school performing arts programs throughout Connecticut to help ensure that the arts have a dynamic
and central role in the educational life of young people w 2010 Participants included:
Amity Regional High School Bethel High School Christian Heritage School
E.O. Smith High School Fairfield Ludlowe High School Fairfield Warde High School Francis Maloney
High School Granby High School Griswold High School Guilford High School Middletown
High School New Canaan High School Newtown High School Norwalk High School Ridgefield

School Trumbull High School Westhill High School
Awards in 16 categories will be presented at a Black Tie, Red Carpet Gala, including
special awards of merit and performances by participant high schools! Recipients of Best Performance
by an Actor and Best Performance by an Actress will travel to new York City in June where they will work with industry professionals
in preparation for the National High School Music Theater Awards at NYU. They will be seen by top casting agents and directors
and will be competing for "The Jimmy Awards". hile honoring all those people who make these programs happen!
